Basic Requirements for Entry

Be between the ages of 14 and 21
Have graduated from the 8th grade
Have at least a 2.0 GPA or C average in school
Live in or around Marietta, Georgia
Have no criminal record or background
Be in good standing at school
Be interested in law enforcement as either a career Option or as a personal interest
Be in good standing with the Marietta Police
department & all of its officers & staff
Be in good standing with the Boy Scouts of America
not be affiliated with any cults, gangs, or
organized crime
Not be affiliated with any other Police Explorer
